We are looking for a licensed mental health professionals to support clients at our Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) centers. We have several locations in St. Paul and Fridley and support a client's behavioral health, mental health, and other skills that will help them transition to a more independent setting.
We are are offering a $5,000 sign on bonus for this opportunity!

The Mental Health Professional will be responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic interviews to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and determine appropriate diagnoses. The Mental Health Professional will develop individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with clients, tailoring them to their specific needs and goals. In addition, will conducts individual therapy and counseling sessions and will continuously assesses and manages crisis situations, with a focus on the safety and well-being of clients.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, full-time during typical business hours. The Mental Health Professional will be expected to work outside of these hours, as they will be part of the on-call schedule. Exact schedule will be determined during the interview process and may include weekends.

Job duties, include but not limited, to:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, including diagnostic interviews and psychological testing, if appropriate and qualified.
  • Analyze assessment results to determine appropriate diagnoses according to the latest diagnostic criteria.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop ITPs based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, using various modalities such as: (1) CBT, (2) DBT, and (3) E-IMR.
  • Help clients develop coping skills, manage symptoms, and improve overall psychological well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to ITPs as needed.
  • Assess and manage crisis situations, including: (1) suicide risk, (2) self-harm, and (3) acute psychiatric episodes. Conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the level of danger and implement appropriate safety measures.
  • Collaborate with emergency services and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in crisis.
  • Provide clinical and treatment supervision to colleagues pursuant to regulatory standards. Review and provide feedback on their clinical assessments, treatment plans, and interventions. Support their professional development and ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct educational workshops and group therapy sessions to enhance clients’ understanding of mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
  • Facilitate support groups to promote a sense of community and provide a platform for individuals to share their experiences and learn from others.
  • Develop and implement psycho educational materials and resources for clients, families, and the general public.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including: (1) psychiatrists, (2) psychologists, (3) social workers, and (4) other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  • Consult with colleagues and professionals to provide expertise, guidance, and recommendations on complex cases.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Be available for assigned on-call duties, providing immediate mental health support and crisis intervention outside of regular working hours to unlicensed providers (i.e., pre-determined and rotating schedule).
  • Respond promptly to urgent situations, such as patients in crisis or emergencies, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to ensure their safety and well-being.
