Venipuncture​/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker- North Central Region

Overview

Labcorp is a leading provider of biometric testing services, population health, and comprehensive workforce wellness strategies. These services are performed by a network of Labcorp personnel located throughout the country.

Labcorp seeks medical professionals to provide testing services ed staff can assign themselves to events in their area using our scheduling system and will receive pre‑event comprehensive training on LES protocols. Services include biometric screenings, COVID‑19 PCR testing, COVID‑19 point‑of‑care antigen testing, and temperature checks. Staff are responsible for setting up, executing, and breaking down events while providing exceptional customer service.

• Perform venipuncture blood draws
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Conduct participant biometric screenings, including blood pressure and body fat analysis
• Ensure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy at all times
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned

• Conduct participant biometric screenings, including fingerstick blood collection, blood pressure, BMI, and body fat analysis
• Perform COVID‑19 PCR testing, COVID‑19 point‑of‑care antigen testing, and temperature checks
• Ensure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy at all times
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned

• Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.)
• Minimum of 1 year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
• Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months required
• Proficient taking blood pressure
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Basic tablet and computer skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Medical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.). Certification or license required in some states
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency with fingerstick blood collection and blood pressure measurement
• Experience with Cholestech LDX preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Basic tablet and computer skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years old

$18 - $23 per hour (based on skills, experience, degrees, certifications, internal equity, and market data)

Employees regularly scheduled for 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Casual, PRN, and part‑time employees scheduled for < 20 hours per week are eligible for the 401(k) plan only. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
