Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) – 4‑Day Work Week Option Available
Location:
Fridley, MN, United States – Full‑time
Salary Range: $61,229.00 – $73,474.80 annually. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities- Provide treatment and rehabilitative services to individuals using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, psychological rehabilitation, and harm‑reduction person‑centered principles.
- Conduct group counseling, skills training, peer support, daily living skills, health‑related issues, mindfulness, and psycho‑educational groups.
- Provide individual services addressing unique circumstances, including family counseling, talk therapy, trauma therapy and other social service functions.
- Provide outreach, monitoring, transition services and assist with individual needs, which may involve providing transport as needed.
- Conduct and/or coordinate comprehensive assessments of substance use and mental health problems following 245G guidelines.
- Complete individual treatment plans based on assessment and recovery goals consistent with program regulations.
- Complete discharge summaries in accordance with program policy and 245G regulation.
- Communicate with all other relevant parties branch ensures services are well coordinated.
- Complete required written documentation per program policy and 245G regulation.
- Participate in staff meetings, required in‑service training, and meetings with clinical supervisor.
- Attend additional in reddish training as required by MHR for this position.
- Licensed as a LADC in the state of Minnesota and compliant with Minnesota statutes, chapter 148C.
- Experience using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and related methods.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members.
- Spanish, Hmong, or Somali language proficiency is preferred; a $1,000 salary bonus is available for passing the language proficiency exam.
- 4‑day work week option.
