Spring Path Mental Health Services, an affiliate of Bright Spring Health Services, assists individuals with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders which result in functional impairments in traditional day‑to‑day life activities. Our services focus on developing social skills, developing coping skills, being an active participant in the local community, offering community choice, and psychoeducation. We help individuals develop skills and access resources needed to live more positive, active and social lives.
Responsibilities- Supervise assigned staff
- Assist with clinical oversight of all services at set location
- Assist Clinical Director with organizing admissions and discharges
- Conduct assessments (Diagnostic, Level of Care Utilization System, Mental Health Review, Suicidal, and evaluation level of danger/risk)
- Interpret and summarize findings with recommended treatment/rehabilitation activities and goals
- Hire new employees and warrant corrective actions when needed
- Oversee the development of individual treatment/rehabilitation plans
- Oversee Case Coordination
- Prevent crisis at the lowest level of escalation
- Provide direct service to clients
- Offer individual and group counseling services
- Possible Case Management
- On‑Call Duties
- Weekly supervision with direct reports
- Conduct weekly staff meetings for location in absence of the Clinical Director
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings
- Utilize behavior management strategies
- Ensure quality assurance including person served outcomes and service outcomes
- Assist with overseeing compliance with location’s license, federal, and state laws, and The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities accreditation
- Coordinate staff schedule for location

- Write progress notes, summaries, and discharges as needed
- Medication Administration
- Recognize utilization goals
- Flexible and effectively utilize time
- Handle information in a confidential manner
- Communicate in an open and honest manner
- Notify proper authorities of circumstances or situations that present possible health hazards
- Observe and implement established policies on health, safety, security, code of conduct, regulation, and company policies
- Ensure all documentation is completed as required
- Report significant / major incidents or accidents
- Cooperate in external / internal investigations as requested
- Establish high levels of mutual trust and support with others
- Provide coaching/learning to staff and clients when needed
- Identify successes and areas for improvement for employees
- Express positive expectations of others, even in difficult situations
- Delegate tasks or responsibilities for the purpose of developing others' abilities
- Reward good performance and promote employee recognition
- Encourage staff to report issues of non‑compliance through appropriate channels
- Conduct employee evaluations when scheduled
- Provide clinical direction to program staff
- Provide and develop clinical services that promote consumer choice and facilitate independence
- Provide clinical input and supervision in treatment and plan development
- Perform other duties designed to improve employee effectiveness as a member of the team, promoting the operation in a positive manner to the community and outside agencies
- Promote/encourage community integration and choice making
- Provide the necessary clinical management for the day‑to‑day operations of the program and maintenance of the location
