# Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (1335)

We are currently hiring a
** Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to
** join our Nursing team and provide comprehensive, person-centered care in a home-like environment that fosters dignity, autonomy, and quality of life for residents.
** Wage:** $22.50-$24.86/hr. + $1.50 Shift diff.

* Schedule:
** Part-Time PM Shift 2:30pm-10:30pm (FTE 0.6, 45 hrs. a pay period)
** What You’ll Do
*** Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting
* Observe and respond to elders’ needs, promoting independence and decision-making
* Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all elder care and documentation
* Communicate effectively with coworkers and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
* Participate in Clinical Service Team (CST) meetings to discuss resident progress and needs
* Document and report changes in health, behavior, eating habits, skin condition, and psychosocial status
* Follow protocols for infection control, fire safety, disaster preparedness, and facility policies
* Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support using appropriate equipment and techniques
* Support restorative nursing and rehabilitation programs as outlined in care plans
* Measure and document vital signs, weight, and height
* Assist with meals, snacks, and fluids based on dietary plans and preferences
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the household, including resident rooms, shared spaces, and kitchen areas
* Complete laundry tasks for residents including washing, drying, and folding
* Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions or suspected abuse immediately
* Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

* ** Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) listed on the Minnesota Registry
*** Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support elders respectfully
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Commitment to preventing abuse and neglect while supporting elder dignity
* Ability to follow established care plans and safety procedures
* ** Preferred:
** Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing settings
* ** Preferred:
** Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR)
* ** Preferred:

Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Certified nursing assistant (CNA) listed on the Minnesota registry
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support elders in a respectful manner
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a positive work environment
* Understanding of elder vulnerability and a commitment to preventing abuse and neglect
* Ability to follow established care plans and safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing settings
* Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation practices
* Previous experience in a household model of care or Green House homes
Physical Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to reach, handle, feel, talk, hear, and see as required for elder care
* Frequent standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift
* Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 75 pounds
* Ability to assist with transferring residents safely and using mechanical lifts as needed
Working Conditions:
* Home-like environment within a long-term care facility
* Exposure to residents with varying cognitive and physical conditions
* Adherence to infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols
* Shift-based schedule, including full-time, part-time, and various shifts as needed
