Department Overview
The Radiology department provides a complete range of sedated and nonsedated diagnostic imaging procedures for major and minor pediatric surgery, disease, or injury. Twenty-four hour consultation services as well as education and outreach programs are available.
Position Summary
The Multi-specialty Technologist provides imaging services to patients and physicians to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of a variety of conditions. Assists with the performance of diagnostic and technical procedures including but not limited to percutaneous diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the direct supervision of a Licensed Practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures in both radiology and IR.
A Multi-specialty Imaging Technologist is regularly scheduled to work in two of the following the modalities:
Radiology, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Imaging.

License/Certification/Registration:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
- Current Basic Life Support CPR Certification (BLS) required
- Associates Degree in Radiology or the equivalent required
- 1-2 years Radiology experience required
- 1-3 years of modality-specific experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
