Location: St Paul
A company is looking for an Underwriter I to perform reviews of various loan types and ensure compliance with guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting and appraisal reviews Identify document deficiencies and request additional information from clients Assist in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan status for customers
Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting High school diploma required Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry practices Understanding of regulatory and legal compliance obligations Entry level to intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
