- Implements financial policies and procedures as determined by management for areas including, but not limited to, general ledger, financial statements, work papers, and accounts receivable.
- Prepares and supports journal entries for all non‑system entries.
- Participates in the completion of the Month End Close Checklist for all assigned action items to ensure that the state meets all corporate timelines.
- Maintains appropriate internal control safeguards over accounting functions.
- Provides support to department managers, administration, and physicians in the preparation, understanding, and use of financial information.
- Prepares the monthly reporting package and draft of the Management Discussion & Analysis document.
- Analyzes all financial results and summarizes findings with recommendations when appropriate.
- Supervises clerical staff as assigned.
- Reviews payroll data and other analysis prepared by staff.
- Performs EOB analysis as requested.
- Reconciles all bank and intercompany accounts.
- Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned.
$130,000-$180,000 annually
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum eight years of experience in fiscal management.
- Three years of public accounting experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Requires sitting for long periods of time.
- Some bending and stretching required.
- Adequate finger dexterity and feeling to perform keyboarding and repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Must be able to view computer screen and printed material accurately.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- The work environment is typical of an office setting.
