OBJECTIVE:
Park Manager is responsible for supervising the park employees’ performance in their daily work activities. The Park Manager serves as a point of contact between guests and Kids Empire, ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing questions or comments from guests or employees. Park Managers ensure guests have an excellent and safe experience and interact with families and children of all ages.
- Attend to guests promptly, greet them, and make them feel comfortable in the park ambiance.
- Supervise performance and work toward production goals.
- Create weekly schedules and audit schedules, attendance, and time clocks.
- Hire qualified employees for park positions.
- Manage statements, terminations, resignations, and job abandonment cases.
- Conduct performance evaluations and park assessments for the park and staff.
- Train team members on key job duties.
- Open and close the park using keys or a code.
- Communicate guest or employee issues as they arise.
- Oversee the check-in process (liability waivers, guest information) via iPad.
- Operate the front cash counter, handle cash/card transactions, and provide correct change as needed.
- Verify POS billing amounts and process transactions accurately.
- Manage park snack inventory and arrange replenishments.
- Manage birthday party bookings and ensure customer satisfaction during events.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Work with corporate teams and communicate through proper channels.
- Monitor safety, enforce park rules, and ensure guests’ safety.
- Clean restrooms and sanitize park structures (tables, chairs, playground equipment).
- Schedule and coordinate family events and assist event operations.
- Participate in weekly meetings and collaborate on development tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage time and attendance setup.
- Assist with national Amazon account audits across KE parks as needed.
- Provide operational support and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Able to work with children and operate an iPad.
- Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership capabilities and the ability to resolve conflicts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented with good documentation and record-keeping.
