Position Overview

ERA seeks motivated and detail‑oriented Structural Modeler Interns to join our team. This will be a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience. A successful Structural Modeler intern candidate is a motivated student with strong Revit and conceptual skills with a desire to learn in a professional, team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the structural engineering team to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Assist in the creation and development of accurate and detailed structural models using industry‑standard software (i.e. AutoCAD and Revit).
  • Ensure that all structural models adhere to established design standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct quality checks on the models to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate structural models with other disciplines (i.e. architectural, mechanical, mechanical, etc.).
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation related to structural models.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in structural modeling.
Hours
  • Full‑Time non‑exempt internship at 40 hours per week
  • In‑person core office hours:
    • 9:00am‑3:00pm Monday‑Thursday
    • Friday Flex – 9:00am‑12:00pm
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Architectural Design or related field
  • Proficient in structural modeling software and understanding of engineering principles
  • Familiar with building codes and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective communicator with solid time management
  • GPA must be 3.0 or higher
