Position Overview The Technical Specialist supports product development, customer launches, and troubleshooting through lab testing, pilot trials, data analysis, and customer-engagement activities. This role operates lamination and adhesive equipment, manages project workflows, and provides technical insights to internal teams and external partners.## Primary Responsibilities
• Conduct lab testing and pilot trials for new product development, customer launches, and troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis for customer complaints and claims.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Lead investigations and support resolution of customer quality issues.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers and internal partners.
• Lead internal and on‐site customer lamination trials.
• Prioritize equipment requests and create project plans with timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Execute projects using recognized project management methodologies.
• Manage inventory of adhesives, films, and critical parts for the pilot facility.
• Analyze and interpret test data to provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Document technical learnings, best practices, and trial outcomes.##

Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma with 6+ years of relevant technical experience OR
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Technology, Applied Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, or related discipline with 1+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical background with knowledge of test equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct field trials and support customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Travel up to 25% within North America.## Preferred Requirements
• Experience with flexible packaging adhesives, laminators, and testing instruments.
• Four‐year technical degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Packaging Engineering.
• Familiarity with tools such as FTIR, MSA, GC/MS, LC‐MS, and microscopy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.##

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (reasonable accommodations available).
• Exposure to chemicals in a lab environment; strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols required.#LI-MB1

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $70,000 - $90, addition to your salary, H.B.
