A company is looking for a Senior Process Piping Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems for industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and specifications, and perform stress analysis and thermal expansion calculations Lead piping engineering efforts for projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while coordinating with other engineering disciplines Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, conduct quality assurance checks, and troubleshoot issues related to piping systems
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience Proven track record in managing large-scale piping projects in industries such as oil and gas or chemical processing Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Smart Plant, CAESAR II) Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and material science Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PE license, PMP certification) are preferred
