Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
Ever-Green Energy is looking for a team member to be responsible for field and in-plant activities for operation and minor maintenance of fuel, ash handling, and water treatment systems. As directed by the Lead Engineer, assist the Shift Engineer in performing his/her duties. It is the responsibility of each Ever-Green Energy employee that all tasks be conducted in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulations, company policies, programmatic standards, and special safety concerns identified by Ever-Green Energy for use in a particular area or with a customer.

Minimum requirements- Hold current Minnesota Special Engineer License.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Physically able to climb over and around equipment, lift material up to 50 pounds, and work with common tools and equipment.
- Capable of working rotating shifts.
- Valid driver's license required and good driving record.
- Technical education related to below duties.
- Experience in the operation and repair of wood and gas fired boilers using oil as back-up fuel, steam turbine and electric drives, pumps, and other related equipment.

kneeling; lifting up to 50 lbs.; pulling; reaching at/below shoulder level by extending hand and arms from 0 up to 150 degrees in a vertical arc; reaching overhead by extending hands and arms in a 150 to 180 degrees vertical arc; standing/walking; stooping; confined space entry into a space with limited entry or exit.
