Pay Rate: $30.00 - $39.30 per hour

• Part of the R&D Orthodontic division
• Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
• Worker to assume leadership of technical programs of major importance to division/staff interests involving scientific research/ understanding, applied technology, and product or process innovations.
• Worker will maintain a flow of major technical contributions such as material/product/process innovations and understandings and will document and communicate these via Records of Invention, patents, internal reports, technical presentations and/or publications.

• Identifying, planning, recommending and completing technical programs leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing and new technologies having major importance to division/staff business.
• Establish extensive intra-divisional interactions and initiate inter-divisional interactions to develop a network of support (technical, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing) to facilitate completion of programs.
• May participate in technical strategic planning.
• Document experimental data/observations in technical notebooks (or approved electronic files), prepare reports, and make oral presentation.
• May also be required to provide technical supervision/management of other contingent technical workers.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Biomedical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience

• A lot of hands on lab testing, orthodontic test procedures
• Looking for someone with strong organization skills, attention to detail, self-motivated
• Previous experience in iso
  13485 med device is nice to have but not required
• Collaborative team environment
