What you will do:
Lead and Manage Projects
:
Oversee all phases of transportation projects — from scoping and budgeting to scheduling, QA/QC, and deliveryCultivate Client Relationships
:
Build trust with existing and prospective clients through virtual and in-person meetings, clear communication, and consistent follow-throughDesign Impactful Infrastructure
:
Develop innovative designs for roadways, bridges, trails, and other multimodal transportation facilitiesDevelop Technical Deliverables
:
Prepare construction documents, including detailed plans, technical specifications, and bid packages that set projects up for successNavigate Regulatory Requirements
:
Prepare technical reports and secure permits, ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycleSupport Proposal Development
:
Collaborate with the MSA team to review RFPs and contribute to compelling proposals that win workMentor and Grow Talent
:
Guide and support junior engineers and technicians, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative team environmentEngage in Construction Oversight (Bonus Skill):
Apply construction management and field inspection expertise to monitor project implementation (a plus, but not required)Communicate with the Public
:
Create and present compelling visual displays and messaging for public meetings and engagement efforts
What you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required — Minnesota PE preferred
4+ years of experience in mobility or transportation engineering
MnDOT project experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with Bentley Open Roads Designer is desired
Proven experience — or a strong interest — in project management and client engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearlyA collaborative mindset and eagerness to thrive in a consulting environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer — sponsorship is not available for this role
