$25.00 per hour (Per Paraeducators Agreement Summer Employment)

Summer School DatesMonday through Thursday from July 6th - July 30th. Some hours will be available for pre-summer planning and training. All training and meetings will have a virtual option.
Paraprofessional Hours5.5 hours per day
Student LevelStudents entering grades 5-8 in Fall of 2026.
Position SummaryPerforms intermediate human support work providing alternative education and basic skills instructional services to students in general instruction or in a specialized subject or assigned group of subjects, motivating students to develop skill in assigned subject matters while supporting appropriate conduct, speech and attire, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Teacher.
Educationand /or Experience
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with school-aged children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
Special RequirementsMust hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test.
