$40.00/hour

Program dates:
July 6th to July 30th. Set-up and meetings will take place the two weeks prior to programming, with a virtual option available.

Programming runs Monday through Thursday. Pre-program professional development and site meetings will be held prior to the first session and may include up to four half‑day sessions.

Schedule for pre-summer professional development and meetings will be determined by mid‑May 2026.

Program hours are 8:00 am–12:30 pm depending on building placement, with an additional 30 minutes of prep time each day.

Seeking teachers interested in utilizing new, creative, and innovative ways to support student achievement through summer learning opportunities. Program focuses on whole‑student growth and success, building strong relationships with students and families, and supporting social‑emotional learning. Opportunity for curriculum development and influence in teaching content. Pre‑summer training, prep time, and meetings are paid time; professional development and program design are created in partnership with Student Support Services and Teaching & Learning.

Performing difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under limited supervision of the Principal.

Occasional oversight exercised over paraprofessional or volunteer.

Teachers will deliver small‑group and individualized instruction according to curriculum and plan guidelines; maintain student records related to student achievement including testing, monitor student behavior.

BA/BS degree and middle‑school experience preferred.

MN Teaching License required.
