Elementary SPED Paraprofessional

Community of Peace Academy is an urban public charter school located on the East Side of St. Paul, Minnesota, serving over 900 students in grades PreK to  is our 31st school year. We are seeking multiple Special Education Paraprofessionals to work with students with disabilities across our Elementary School special education program.

Special Education Paraprofessionals work daily when school is in session and are given six paid holidays during the school year. Other benefits include up to ten sick days per school year, health and dental insurance coverage and a retirement plan.

The qualified applicant will possess a strong ability to develop positive rapport with learners of diverse backgrounds, to maintain clear and consistent expectations, to support learning activities and student behavior with skill and enthusiasm, and to communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
