Salary: $40.00/hour

Final date to receive applications: Initial review of applicants will occur on March 9, 2026. All candidates submitting after that date will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. The position will close on April 30th at midnight.

Program Dates: July 6th to July 30th. Set-up and meetings will be the two weeks prior to programming starting with a virtual option that will be available to attend. Programming runs Monday through Thursday. Pre-program professional development and site meetings will be held prior to the start of the first session and will be up to four half days of additional time.

Pre-summer professional development and meetings: Schedule will be determined by mid-May 2026. Program hours are 8:00 am–12:30 pm depending on building placement with an additional 30 minutes of prep time each day.

Seeking teachers interested in utilizing new, creative, and innovative ways to support student achievement through summer learning opportunities. Program will focus on whole student growth and success, building and strengthening strong relationships with students and their families, and supporting social‑emotional learning. Opportunity for some curriculum development and more influence in teaching content. Pre-summer training, prep time, and meetings will be paid time;

professional development and program design created in partnership with Student Support Services and Teaching & Learning.

Teachers will deliver small group and individualized instruction according to curriculum and plan guidelines; will maintain student records as it relates to student achievement including testing; will monitor student behavior. This position performs broad teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Work is performed under limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.

BA/BS degree and Middle school experience preferred.

MN Teaching License required.
