As an Enrollment Counselor for Graduate Programs, you’ll serve as a trusted guide for adults who are thoughtfully considering advanced education at Bethel University. Graduate students often come to this decision point with big questions—about timing, finances, vocation, faith, and fit. Your role is to walk alongside them, helping them make an informed and discerning choice about their next chapter.
Through personalized outreach and meaningful one-to‑one conversations, you’ll build authentic relationships with prospective students from first inquiry through enrollment. You’ll listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and provide clear guidance as students explore how Bethel’s Christ‑centered graduate programs align with their professional goals, life circumstances, and sense of calling.
This role sits at the intersection of student advocacy, academic partnership, and mission‑driven enrollment work. You’ll collaborate closely with faculty, academic leaders, and campus partners to understand program requirements, timelines, and outcomes—ensuring each student receives accurate, transparent information and a high‑touch admissions experience. Your work directly shapes who joins our graduate community and supports Bethel’s commitment to excellence, care, and whole‑person formation.

What you’ll do Recruitment – 50%- Reach out to and develop relationships with new and prospective students.
- Hold one on‑one meetings with each prospective student.
- Attend on and off campus recruitment events.
- Facilitate the application process for students in assigned programs.
- Partner with departments to improve admissions process and understand program requirements.
- Serve as the liaison between prospective students and the departments.
- Attend the department meetings of assigned departments.
- Attend and contribute to professional development opportunities.
