Job Summary
  • Teach Music Production 1 and 2:
    This course will present beginning to intermediate music production techniques and skills as well as an overview of the music industry in general. Students will be given direct hands‑on experience with music production equipment as well as opportunities to explore other areas on their own. This is a course is offered within the Career Development Program for students in Grades 11 and 12
  • Travel between buildings is required and reimbursed per district policies.
  • Maintain good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Carry out responsibilities as defined by master contract and supervisor.
Qualifications
  • MN licensure preferred. Candidates with industry knowledge and who are eligible for a license, variance or community expert permission may also apply.
  • Industry knowledge in any of the following areas preferred:
    • Music Production Software (Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, 3rd Party Plugins)
    • Music Production Hardware (Microphones, Preamps, Mixers, Monitors)
    • Audio Production Signal Flow
    • Music Recording and Mixing
    • Current Music Trends
    • Live Sound Production
    • Sound For Picture Production
    • Music Business Fundamentals
    • Basic A/V facilities setup and operation
    • Music Production Post-Secondary Options
  • Relate positively to students, staff, and community.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

Compensation / Benefits

According to contractual agreement. If benefit eligible, benefits are available to new employees effective the first day of active employment.
