St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) is a coeducational, non‑sectarian, college‑preparatory day school serving more than 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12. DescriptionSPA is currently seeking Spartan Day Camp Assistants for our Spartan Day Camp program at the Randolph Campus for grades K‑5. Program hours run from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM on days when camp is in session. Assistants report to the Spartan Day Camp Director. There will be a mandatory three‑hour training session prior to the beginning of the program. Spartan Day Camp Assistants work directly with the Camp Director & Assistant Director to manage campers throughout the day, help lead activities, and play an important role in creating a fun, safe, and welcoming camp environment.
For example, assistants will plan activities such as outdoor play, organized sports/games, art projects, board games, etc. The ideal assistant is well‑attuned to the needs of elementary‑aged children, encourages student engagement, exhibits a team‑oriented disposition, and demonstrates dependability and professionalism.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and be able to work the designated hours during the camp session. The Daycamp runs from June 8, 2026, to July 24, 2026 (6 weeks). Camp runs Monday‑Friday, with partial‑day and full‑time positions available.
Important DatesThere is no camp on June 19th, June 29th, and July 3rd in observance of holidays.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience working in an educational setting
- Enjoy being part of a team in an active, fast‑paced environment
- Can commit to at least 4 weeks of camp
- Are available to work full‑day shifts (8:00–4:00 or 9:00–5:00)
