Admissions Counselor

About the role

At Bethel, recruitment is more than meeting enrollment goals. It's about walking alongside students and families as they discern God's calling for their lives. The Undergraduate Admissions Counselor plays a pivotal role in that journey, serving as a trusted guide, advocate, and connector from first inquiry through enrollment and beyond, helping students understand not only Bethel's academic offerings, but the life-changing student experience and Christ-centered community that set us apart.

In this role, you'll build genuine, one-to-one relationships with prospective students and their families-answering questions, offering encouragement, and helping them see how Bethel could be a place where they grow academically, spiritually, and personally. You'll manage a regional territory, communicate with students through multiple channels, and gain confidence through hands-on experience in recruitment, admissions decision-making, and student support.

You'll be supported by a collaborative, mission-driven team that values learning, mentorship, and growth. Along the way, you'll also have opportunities to represent Bethel in communities, build professional skills, and contribute to student engagement and retention while developing a strong foundation for a future career in higher education or student-focused work.

If you're energized by purpose-driven work, meaningful conversations, and being part of a community that cares deeply about students and their calling, we'd love to meet you.
