St. Catherine University and the Department of Sonography invite applications for a Temporary Annual Assistant Professor in Sonography. This appointment is temporary, with an end date of May 31, 2026
. The successful candidate will support student learning, clinical experiences, and program growth in alignment with the university's mission and values.
- Facilitate a relationship-centered, student-focused learning environment.
- Recognize diverse learning styles and provide mentorship and guidance to students.
- Plan, organize, and deliver content and learning experiences aligned with program goals.
- Utilize current sonography content, technology, and teaching methodologies.
- Evaluate student performance regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with clinical sites; monitor student clinical experiences.
- Support program development, including assisting in adding clinical sites as needed.
- Participate actively in departmental and college initiatives, adhering to university policies and procedures.

- Associates degree
- Credentialed in abdominal ultrasound and obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound
- Experience teaching sonography courses, 5+ years as a sonographer

Compensation
The salary is $63,280.80 - $70,311.99 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
