SE (TCR) has been providing free, comprehensive workforce development for underemployed and unemployed individuals since 1993. Through personal empowerment, career training, and meaningful employment, we help participants acquire the relevant skills today’s employers seek out—and in doing so, we create positive generational change. Twin Cities R!
SE’s workforce development program includes dedicated career pathways training, personal empowerment curriculum (including emotional intelligence), internship opportunities, personalized coaching, supportive services, and connection to employers, with a guaranteed interview. We work with participants for up to two years to obtain career growth and long-term sustainability.
Digital Navigation Corps is a program of Literacy Minnesota, an organization that connects people to transformative learning, sparks innovation in literacy, and mobilizes change. Literacy Minnesota envisions a future where literacy eliminates injustices and strengthens communities. The literacy work that began 50 years ago in Minnesota is now nationwide, providing curriculum, classes, workshops and research to partners and learners. Digital Navigation Corps is Literacy Minnesota’s response to the digital skills‑gap that impacts communities across the country.
Built on a longstanding tradition of service, and pioneering the newest resources in digital learning, Digital Navigation Corps addresses critical digital literacy needs by bringing Digital Navigators to work alongside community members who are striving to reach their professional goals. Digital Navigators must complete 1,700 service hours, generally working 40 hours/week, Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑5:00 p.m. Some evening hours may be required. Members earn $1,002 every two weeks.
