Qualifications- Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits or pass MN Parapro test
- Training in Blood Borne Pathogens
- Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota
- Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs preferred
- ESY Experience (Preferred)

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $25/hr.
Dates of ESY:
June 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for (ESY Programming)
Work Days/Times:
Proposed ESY Programming days:
Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar;
Proposed times: 7:20 am-11:05 am (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)
Student Level: Secondary, although positions may be adjusted to other age groups based on need.
Position Summary:
The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking para educators to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with special needs students individually or in small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the ESY teachers and Student Support Services Administrators.
Education and /or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
