Overview
Entira has an an immediate opportunity for a Family Medicine (with Obstetrics) Physician to provide compassionate and quality clinical care for patients for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. This is a full scope position requiring inpatient and ambulatory care for patients of all ages inclusive of management of pregnancy and childbirth on a routine basis. Examine patients, obtain medical histories, prescribe medications and perform tests and procedures to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses.
Counsel patients on diet, hygiene and preventive healthcare. Supervision of other health-care workers, such as physician assistants, nurses, and technicians. Participation with patient and family centered principles that are aligned with Health Care Home standards. This Family Practice Physician will have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to be a successful in our private Physician-owned practice.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, managing inpatient and ambulatory care, and providing care for patients of all ages with obstetric responsibilities as part of routine pregnancy and childbirth management. Examinations, medical histories, prescribing medications, performing tests and procedures, and counseling on diet, hygiene and preventive healthcare are included. Supervision of other health-care workers such as physician assistants, nurses, and technicians.

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a current license to practice in Minnesota (license current, valid and unencumbered).
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Graduate or graduate eligible from an accredited residency program.
- Current DEA licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- Possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Obstetrics requires NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) Multisource Active required upon hire.
- Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) Provider — Active upon hire.
