About the Job:
This nine-month appointment starting April 6, 2026 to December 31, 2026. The role will consist of inpatient and outpatient training as well as community- and classroom-based components. Appointees will train under the supervision of physician faculty, with the goal of ensuring that all participants will achieve a baseline level of readiness for entry into U.S. residency programs in primary care.
This is considered a training position. Participate in diagnosis and treatment of patients under physician faculty supervision; provide clinical, scholastic or research activities as assigned as part of clinical training and as determined by the supervising physician faculty; participate in didactic training; participate in clinical administration. Provides culturally competent patient health education and counseling under the supervision of physician faculty.
Assigned responsibilities are carried out in a manner respectful of the rights of patients and conducive to the efficient, effective rendering of high quality patient care. Physician faculty will provide direction and instruction for expected trainee conduct, including confidentiality, patient safety, and professional interaction with patients and members of the care team.
Required Qualifications:
- Selected to participate in BRIIDGE clinical preparation for residency program.
- MD Degree
- ECFMG Certification Completion of USMLE Steps 1 & 2
- Completion of the Minnesota IMG preparatory Observed Clinical Skills Exam (OSCE)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of TOEFL Demonstrated typing proficiency in English
Pay Range: Starting pay for this role is $20.60 - $32,136 prorated to a 9 month appointment.
