Location:
Blaine, MN area (projects across the north metro Twin Cities; on-site)
Lead Complex Residential Remodels With Integrity, Craftsmanship, and Clear Communication
Becker Building & Remodeling is a highly respected residential design-build firm serving the Twin Cities for nearly two decades. We specialize in complex, high-end residential projects, full-gut renovations, additions, whole-home remodels, and custom rebuilds, where building science, code compliance, and craftsmanship truly matter. Nearly all of our work comes from referrals. That doesn’t happen by accident; it’s the result of strong teamwork, proactive communication, and doing things the right way, every time.
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager/Site Supervisor to lead our production operations and serve as the critical connection between our office, field team, trade partners, and clients. This is a field-focused leadership role, not a sales or estimating position. Our design team fully packages each project before it reaches production. Your job is to run the field, solve problems, communicate constantly, and deliver outstanding projects.
You’ll oversee residential remodels and custom builds across the north metro Twin Cities, working closely with our designers, carpenters, subcontractors, and clients.

- Maintain high standards for quality control, safety, and code compliance
- Communicate proactively with clients through updates, walk-throughs, and reports

- Support warranty and service follow-ups
- Help develop carpenter training and growth opportunities
- Step in where needed. This is a small, collaborative team that wears many hats
- 5 or more years of residential construction experience in Design-build, semi-custom, or custom home building (Large-scale production builders alone are not a fit)
- 2 or more years managing employees and/or subcontractors
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Solid working knowledge of residential building materials & best practices, as well as the Minnesota residential building codes and energy codes
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to residential job sites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Over-communication is expected and valued)
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
- Industry certifications (NARI, Builders Association, etc.) are highly desirable
- Additional years of residential remodeling or custom home experience
- Background as a lead carpenter or hands-on builder
- Candidates should expect to discuss or demonstrate their knowledge of MN residential and energy codes during the interview process.
- Full-Time, W-2 Employment
- Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience (Exceptional candidates may exceed this range)
- Company-supported health insurance
- 10 days PTO plus paid company holidays
- Profit-sharing retirement plan (company-funded IRA contributions)
- Mileage reimbursement (company vehicle provided after tenure)
- Company phone or stipend
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Work on interesting, complex residential projects, not cookie-cutter builds
- Join a tight-knit, collaborative team that values integrity and craftsmanship
- No sales pressure, no commission structure
- Strong referral-based business and long-term client relationships
- Leadership that values communication, teamwork, and doing things right
If you re a residential construction professional who thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering exceptional work, and you understand what it takes to build in Minnesota, we d love to meet you.
