Project Manager II - Mechanical Construction - Traveling

Location

Columbus, Ohio

Compensation

Pay Range: $125,000 - $140,000

What's the Job?
  • Provide comprehensive project management support during all phases of HVAC construction to ensure adherence to project standards, budgets, deadlines, and effective communication.
  • Review, organize, and distribute contract documents, shop drawings, RFIs, and project schedules to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Attend field coordination meetings, distribute meeting notes, and facilitate clear communication among all parties involved.
  • Administer project-specific quality control programs, compile documentation, and oversee project closeout activities including manuals and punch lists.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, labor requirements, and safety protocols to ensure timely and safe project completion.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the building and construction industry, with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical drawings.
  • Solid understanding of business administration, management principles, and design techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to effectively coordinate with teams and clients.
