ALL ABOUT THE SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNSHIPAs a Supply Chain Intern, you’ll gain firsthand experience in how a high‑growth food manufacturing company ensures customers receive the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. This 8–10‑week, full‑time internship is designed to give rising juniors a deep look into the order‑to‑delivery process and the cross‑functional coordination required to support service excellence.
You’ll work on a defined operational improvement project that enhances accuracy, communication, and workflow efficiency within Customer Fulfillment. You’ll also learn how key service metrics — including on‑time delivery and fill rate — are monitored and improved, and how fulfillment decisions impact the broader supply chain. Throughout the summer, you’ll be supported by leaders, mentors, and team members who are committed to your development.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Support a scoped operational improvement project from kickoff through final presentation.
- Learn how the Customer Fulfillment team ensures accurate, timely order execution and strong customer communication.
- Gather information from team members and existing documentation to understand current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with organizing data, materials, and insights needed for your project.
- Participate in team meetings to observe how fulfillment partners with Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, and other functions.
- Prepare clear, professional updates on project progress for your manager.
- Deliver a final project summary and recommendations to Supply Chain leadership.
- Document project outcomes and recommended next steps to support long‑term adoption.
- A strong understanding of the end‑to‑end order lifecycle in a complex supply chain.
- Exposure to key operational metrics, including on‑time delivery and fill rate.
- Experience working in a high‑growth, fast‑moving environment where priorities shift and collaboration is essential.
- Professional development through mentorship, feedback, and hands‑on learning.
- Confidence in leading a project, communicating insights, and presenting to our leadership team.
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or Operations Management.
- Be enrolled as a junior undergraduate (Preferred Graduation Date: Spring 2027).
- Demonstrated interest in service‑focused supply chain work.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data related to orders, service levels, or operational performance.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Experience with Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
- Experience with process documentation or basic project management.
- Duration: 8–10 weeks
- Schedule: Full‑time (40 hours/week)
