Mers around the world. As a Global Key Account Manager Energy Vertical, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Setting the strategic commercial direction for potentially multiple key accounts
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Developing and executing strategies to meet the specific needs of key accounts, aligning solutions with their business goals.
- Addressing any issues or concerns that arise, ensuring prompt resolutions to maintain key account satisfaction.
- Setting the "gold standard" for key account management.
- Identifying opportunities and spec‑in & lock in future sales to drive revenue growth.
- Key account roadmap and accelerate the NPI/key programs.
- Possessing an understanding of key account customer’s entire supply chain, working with Tier suppliers.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree of higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Six (6) years of experience in sales or key accounts in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in working with government or semi‑government agencies
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
- Experience in working with cross‑functional teams and global teams
- Familiar with CCUS, underground Hydrogen storage, Geothermal applications
- Experience in plastics processing industry including polymer processing additives, compounding and extrusion processes
- Experience in creating annual account growth plans & working with Salesforce
- Experience in either the Oil & Gas Industry or with integrated energy companies
- Work location:
Remote – TX, OK, LA or MN Area - Travel:
May include up to 25% domestic and international - Relocation:

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
