Position SummaryThe Senior Technician will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead and mentor a team to increase customer care and satisfaction, and deliver quality repairs on a flat‑rate pay basis.
Sign‑on bonus of $1,500 (for first‑time hires). Pay Range: $22.00 – $34.43 per hour.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair specifications for brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
- Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment.
- Valid automobile driver’s license at all times; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Demonstrated skill in brake/hydraulic systems and/or steering & suspension & alignments.
- Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
- Current federal, state, and local certification/license where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience with third‑party assessments/certifications or completion of a vocational‑technical school program.
- ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 (L1 acceptable).
