Merit Chevrolet Co. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive BDC Manager/Sales Manager to lead our sales and business development center. This role requires a strong leader who can drive sales performance, manage customer relationships, and oversee daily operations to maximize dealership profitability and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales management and exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the Business Development Center (BDC) and sales teams to ensure sales goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and improve customer acquisition and retention.
  • Train, mentor, and coach staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Monitor team and individual sales metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and effective inventory management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or BDC Manager in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
