Entry Level Accountant

Description

Robert Half is searching for an Entry Level Accountant for a contract position. In this position, your responsibilities will include data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. If you have an aptitude for Excel, a positive attitude, and a desire to work in an entry-level accounting position, then this position could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing monthly journal entries

- Investigating and correcting account discrepancies

- Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

- Assisting with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Requirements

- BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business suggested

- General familiarity with accounts payable & receivable

- High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) is preferred

- Exposure to SAP or other ERP system highly desired

- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
