Registered Nurse - Birthing Center Job Saint Marys area,Ohio USA,Nursing

Hours of Job

Part Time - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Every third weekend and every third holiday rotation required.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Responsible for delivery of patient care to the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patient populations utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
Places the patient at the center of care practices.
Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to work every third weekend and every third holiday rotation.
Must have willingness to be placed on call and to support staffing during census fluctuations.

Education/Certifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.

Experience

Previous OB experience is required.
