Job Description

Dedicated shuttle drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

* Competitive pay:

* Average $1,200 per week / $62,400 per year

* Starting pay of $29 per hour

* Average 42 hours per week

* Overtime rate of time and a half after 40 hours

* Home daily

* Monday-Friday, with weekend work as needed and will rotate

* Shift is 1 p.m.

- 9 p.m.

* This is a 24/7 operation and start times could vary based on production

* Shuttle trailers between four manufacturing facilities in St. Louis and a distribution center in St. Charles, MO

* Pickup bottle loads when returning to the manufacturing facilities

* Drop & hook and shuttling trailers during your shift

* No touch freight

* Weekend work is necessary and is based on the customers' production levels

Job Requirements

* Must live within a 75-mile radius

* Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years

* Must have Class A CDL

* Must apply for tanker endorsement within 30 days of hire and must obtain tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire - will be reimbursed upon receipt

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years

* No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years

* No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years

* No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)

* No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years

* No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential functions:

* Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs

* Count freight

* Complete fuel tickets

* Obtain sales leads

* Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)

* Perform pre-trip inspections

* Drive

* Regular predictable attendance

* Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle

* Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
