We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic who will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to minimize downtime and support delivery center operations.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks, trailers, and flatbed equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, brake, steering, fuel, and exhaust systems.
• Conduct new truck inspections and churn inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and correct electronic and mechanical issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance services (PMs) including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and system adjustments.
• Repair or replace defective parts such as sensors, batteries, alternators, starters, brakes, and lighting systems.
• Document all work performed accurately in the company’s fleet management system (Fleetio or equivalent).
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment, keeping tools and equipment in proper condition.
• Assist with roadside or yard repairs as needed to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support training of drivers on basic pre-trip inspections and safe operation procedures when required.
