Are you ready to launch a stable career in the rail industry? Join Pacific Rail Services working at the BNSF St. Louis Rail Terminal! We’re hiring for an entry-level position that combines Hostler Driver and Ground Person duties. We provide on-the-job training—you’ll learn everything you need to succeed!
What You’ll Do:- Operate jockey trucks to move 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
- Perform ground duties like climbing on/off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBCs).
- Assist crane operators and side loaders using hand signals for safe loading/unloading.
- Stack/unstack chassis and manage chassis racks.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- $20.00/hr with no experience.
- Higher starting rate available for experienced jockey drivers.
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours).
- 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM (10 hours).

- Valid driver’s license.

Applicants must live within 45 minutes of St. Louis. Out-of-area candidates or those needing relocation will not be considered.
This position is a great fit for individuals with experience in warehouse work, delivery driving, forklift operation, outdoor labor, landscaping, or rail yard operations.
You will be employed by Pacific Rail Services, not the railroad.
