CDL A Delivery Driver

Overview

Drive for a company striving to be the ‘world’s most caring distribution company’ that serves Chick-fil-A restaurants through safety, care and excellence. As a CDL A driver at Chick-fil-A Supply in Maryland Heights, MO you’ll be responsible for delivering to Chick-fil-A restaurants and supporting operations with state-of-the-art equipment and a customer-focused mindset.

• Drive state-of-the-art trucks
• Use the latest equipment to deliver product to multiple Chick-fil-A restaurants
• Unload and stage product at 4-6 Restaurants per shift
• Complete all pickups and returns (e.g., pallets, carts) from Restaurants and properly submit paperwork
• Assist in unloading the truck and putting away equipment upon return to the DC

Location: 13965 Riverport Place, Maryland Heights, MO 63043

• Schedule:
  
  Sunday through Friday, start time between 4 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. until work is done
• All drivers receive two consecutive nights off every week, and everyone gets Saturday off
• Typically 40 to 45+ hours per week based on routes and restaurants served

• Guaranteed minimum 40-hour pay between $1,500.00 to $1,800.00 per week based on driving experience
• Overtime paid for hours over 40 per week

  Brand new Kenworth T680 automatic tractor with leather, air ride seats; truck GPS; rear and side view cameras
• Trailer: 48” Great Dane with electric side lift gates and tandem lights
• Power Sleds:
  Battery-powered pallet jacks for moving product
• Mobile Devices:
  Samsara devices with app for parking/unloading and ELD charging in cab
• In-House Maintenance Team:
  Chick-fil-A Supply onsite mechanics

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Driving
  
  Experience:
  
  1+ years Tractor/Trailer experience
• DOT and Company Policy Requirements:
  Meet all DOT (FMCSA) requirements; at least 21 years of age;
  Class A CDL; complete a DOT Clearing House application; pass MVR, drug test, and background check; no preventable DOT recordable accidents in past 3 years; no more than 2 of the same type of moving violations in last 3 years; no DUI/DWI in past 10 years; live within 60 miles of the distribution center

Extreme Temperature: Able to work in extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F); night work common

Heavy Lifting: Lift up to 65 pounds per case; may move up to 2,000 pounds with mechanical assistance

Travel: Up to 5% travel for operator/market visits and related conferences
