Head Coach - Men's Basketball

Overview

Oversee the direction and overall management of the Men’s Basketball program at Maryville University. Oversee and direct decisions on training methods and program development for student-athletes in the men’s basketball program while completing ancillary duties as assigned.

• Program Leadership:
  Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), aiming to position the program among the top conference competitors. Oversee scheduling, practice planning, game day operations, and travel logistics. Manage the administration of the men’s basketball program, including hiring recommendations and supervision of coaching staff. Oversee the program’s operational and recruitment budget.
• Alumni & Supporter Relations:
  Connect with alumni and supporters of the program through meetings, invitations to team activities, and stewardship efforts.
• Compliance:
  Understand and follow all rules, regulations, and protocols of the University, GLVC, and NCAA.

• Required Knowledge:
  Thorough understanding of the game and technical aspects of men’s basketball.
• Required Skills or Abilities:
  Ability to effectively teach team and individual skills connected with team and player development. Previous coaching experience required.
• Education:
  
  Four-year college education.
