Volleyball - Head Coach (Boys)
This is for the Spring 2026 position beginning 3/2/2026. Preseason has already started and this position would start as soon as possible.
JOB SUMMARY: To carry out the philosophy of the athletic program and the athletic commitment of Ladue School District.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills for student athletes, parents and the community.
- Conduct practice 5-6 days per week during the season.
- Coordinate other level practices and participate in a full season of games and tournaments.
- Adheres to all MSHSAA guidelines in and out of season.
EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
- Head coaches must possess a four-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR serving as an Approved Assistant Coach (non-Hardship Coach) for a minimum of TWO YEARS (OR NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course (online) passed prior to coaching).
- Successful completion of a Sports First Aid and CPR/AED course/training prior to coaching and renewed every two years.
- Successful completion of Background Check(s).
- Successful completion of the MSHSAA Sport-Specific Online Rules Review and Test each season.
- Successful completion of Safe Schools.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge and experience in coaching Volleyball is preferred.
COMPENSATION: Stipend amount ranges from $4,779 - $5,970. Actual amount will be based on verified Volleyball coaching experience.
