Job Description:

The MPTM position is a key member of our leadership team reporting to the VP of Fitness and is responsible for assisting the Market Partners, Managing Partners and PT Managers with daily club operations and delivering “WOW” service for team members and members alike!

Responsibilities
  • Consults and assists in hiring, training, and performance management of a team of qualified Personal Training Managers
  • Meet both new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club
  • Coach and guide Club Leaders on how to engage, prescribe, acquire, and retain clients
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with Market Partners, Managing Partners and PTMs to review performance, motivate and guide to achieving individual and company goals
  • Need a bullet on effective communication and feedback loop
  • Manage the Crunch One Kickoff process through demonstrating, coaching, and guiding PT Team members on how to engage with members with the goal of converting the members to personal training services
  • Ensure accurate administration of PT services including, but not limited to, usage of dotFIT program and supplements, goal tracking, measurement tracking, program design and tracking, and progress reports
  • Maintain accurate reports and data for clarity into performance of the business
  • Manage, align, direct resources informed by department KPIs & organizational priorities
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to all member inquiries within 24 hours
  • Report to Executive Leadership, RVP of Operations and Regional PT Manager on key results and action plans
  • Ensure Club level PT staffing maintains appropriate levels to service our customers and business needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date certification/CPR records of all personal training staff
  • Responsible for conducting weekly club visits, completing club audits and reporting results to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for conducting and leading continuing education courses as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1-2 year's experience as a personal training manager required
  • Prior management experience leading 3-10 employees required
  • Demonstrates integrity and judgment, confidence, humility and kindness
  • Basic understanding of fitness industry, market and key business drivers
  • Understanding of labor control, optional staffing levels and controls over time
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Certification required in one or more approved Nationally Accredited Certifications
  • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs
  • Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
Compensation
  • Up to $75,000 base salary
  • Monthly and quarterly bonus opportunities
