Must Have Skills
Deep knowledge of BSON, CRUD operations, and Mongo

DB internals like the Wired Tiger storage engine.

Experience with cloud hosted solutions like Mongo

DB Atlas, including features like Search, Data Federation, and Vector Search for AI applications as well as AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in server side programming (Node.js, Python, Java, or C#) and an understanding of RESTful API development.

Nice to have skills
Design and implement efficient documentoriented schemas (denormalization vs. embedding) to support evolving application requirements.
Develop and tune complex queries, manage indexing strategies, and utilize the Aggregation Framework for data transformation and reporting.

Job Description

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute
Manage complex deployments, including multiregion replica sets and sharded clusters with high volume workloads.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks using Aggregation Framework pipelines, indexing strategies, and query optimization. Monitor core metrics such as query execution time and index hit ratios.
Integrate Mongo

DB with backend services Node.js, Java, Python, or Go and event driven architectures like Kafka.
