Overview
BJC Health Care is seeking a Sponsorship and Events Strategist to manage relationships and deliverables. Ideal candidates should have experience in larger event management and can manage deadlines with project coordination skills. Monday-Friday, remote opportunity with availability needed for on-site weekend and evening events.

BJC also contributes to research, emergency preparedness, regional health care safety net services, health literacy, community outreach and regional economic development. Coordinates, develops, publicizes, and evaluates employee, patient or community-based activities and events, and marketing sponsor ships, that align with hospital goals and priorities and support community engagement, business development, education, prevention, and/or employee appreciation and recognition.
Responsibilities- Assist marketing department with assessment of sponsorship and partnership opportunities and community activities on behalf of the HSO; partner with Human Resources to assist with development of employee-focused activities and recognition programs.
- Plan, execute, and measure employee or community events aimed at employee recognition and retention, community engagement, lead generation and health literacy.
- Oversee promotion of smaller-sized community and employee events, and help evaluate new event opportunities with input from department leadership; analyze data to measure success and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate vendors and per-diem staff as needed; assist with programming, classes, sponsor ships/partnerships, and other special services; oversee on-site coordination and HSO representation at events, including communication with attendees and collection of external prospects for marketing database. Assist with coordination of annual United Way campaign or employee celebrations and recruit volunteers to assist with activities, recognition programs and other community outreach initiatives.
Conduct client surveys to determine interest in new events and obtain feedback on completed events. - Prepare measurement and analytics for post-event analysis and reporting; assist with strategy to identify new employee or community event opportunities.
