Controls Technician

We are seeking a Controls Technician to support the design, build, and commissioning of advanced automation and material handling systems. This role involves panel wiring, PLC/HMI programming support, system integration, and troubleshooting electrical controls for conveyors, robotics, labeling systems, and other automated equipment.

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels, enclosures, and field devices.
• Install and connect sensors, motors, drives, pneumatics, and safety devices.
• Assist with PLC and HMI programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate control systems with warehouse automation equipment and software.
• Conduct system testing and support factory acceptance testing (FAT).
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls issues during build and installation.
• Provide on-site support for system installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate wiring diagrams, schematics, and build documentation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.

• Required:
• 2+ years of experience in electrical/controls installation or maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience wiring panels, sensors, and industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networking.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site installations and commissioning.
• Team player with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
