This is a great time to join our team! We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at our St. Louis, MO location (Jefferson Barracks). This mechanic position is a union position with the Operating Engineers local 513 and typically works a Monday through Friday, 1st shift schedule -- though some Saturdays will be required depending on the seasonal/company needs.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of mobile equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Complete accurate written record of work performed.
• Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic qualifications:

• Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.
• Welding certifications are a plus
• Strong work ethic
• Aptitude working with hands and understanding mechanical concepts
