Auto Glass Technician Auto Glass Repair St Louis

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and contributing to a positive team dynamic.

• Traveling within our service radius to perform repairs or replacements.
• Pick up glass daily from our distributors, while also making sure they are not damaged or have defects.
• Communicating with customers, keeping them updated on ETA, any issues that may arise, as well as once the service is completed, giving them all necessary care information.
• Removing moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, and clips before glass installation and repairs and replacing them thereafter.
• Identifying issues that may affect glass installation, such as rust or vehicle damage.
• Doing a thorough cleaning both inside and outside of the vehicle after the service has been completed.
• Using clips, moldings, and adhesives to affix custom-cut glass to customers’ vehicles.
• Communicate with Dispatch and other team members as necessary, in a timely manner.
• Be able to learn our scheduling software, process card payments, and handle cash as necessary.

• Minimum 4 years field experience required
• Able to spend 8 hours a day in a company vehicle traveling between jobs
• Sound knowledge of automotive glass repair and installation techniques
• Effective communication and customer service skills
