Job OverviewWe are seeking knowledgeable, customer‑focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join our Crown team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing lift trucks, performing planned maintenance, maintaining a service van and inventory, and completing post‑job paperwork.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
- Less than 2 years related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge of electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines, and ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer‑care skills.
- Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, or knowledge of various testing equipment preferred.
- Experience with hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and various testing equipment.
- Industry‑related training preferred.
- Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow through.
Full‑time, 40 hours per week plus overtime.
