Technician Fiber Installation

Overview

At Prince Telecom, as a Technician Fiber Installation, you’ll set up and maintain fiber‑optic networks that help connect people. You will ensure smooth operation, troubleshoot problems, and keep the network online with no interruptions.

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber‑optic internet and telephone equipment per guidelines.
• Set up and configure all equipment.
• Identify and remedy customer‑perceived issues.
• Review requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and fulfill on‑call or after‑hours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (non‑provisional) and acceptable driving record.

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 lbs without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse.

$18.00 – $18.00 per hour.
